Anger and being or feeling angry is an emotion people in general don´t like to talk about. It is an unacceptable emotion asked to be surpressed by society. Anger surpressed can lead in to two different directions: or we surpress it until we eventually explode or we keep it inside and we get depressed. To stay in charge of it is important if you dont want to let it destroy relationships, your self love and self esteem or block the flow of abundance towards you. If communicating about it, feels difficult you can write it down and burn it. Speaking from your heart is a courageous act. There are the risks of criticism, disagreement or judgment. Everyone has a different perception. What is true for me can not be true for you. But speaking your truth is taking a stand for yourself and will help others to see your perception so you can meet for deeper understanding. Compassionate listening is helping the other to suffer less. It will allow the feelings like anger to flow out. Fear, anger and despair are born on the ground of wrong perception. Compassionate listening without giving advice and without correcting the other person's perception. Just helping the other to empty her/his chest, that is healing.( Thich Nhat Hanh)
