Grounding is allowing the energy to move through our root chakra. Grounding means you are fully present in the physical world. Feeling stressed, panicked, tired, confused, angry or irritated can be signs you are not grounded enough. Grounding will help you to feel safe and secure.
Some tips to ground yourself:
* Working in the garden, planting
* a walk in the forest
* walking barefoot
* wearing red socks
* laying on the ground, in a grassfield
* using grounding rocks or minerals: jaspis, agat, fire agat,hematite, red coral, obsidian, onyx, ruby, ..
* yoga excercices
* using mineal oils like cedar or sandalwood for massage or burning
* sport/physical activities
* eating red fruits and vegetables
* meditation/ visualization: visualizing yourself like a tree
* listening to grounding music like drumming
* dancing
* taking a seasalt bath
