According to social psychologist Amy Cuddy our body language affects how others see us and it changes how we see ourselves. If we feel sad, we curl up, tend to make ourselves small. And if we feel powerfull we open ourself, we occupie space. So,standing in a posture of confidence , even when we don´t feel confident, can affect our brain, will make us feel more confident and will even have an impact on our chances for success. Our thoughts can change our body and our body posture can change our thoughts! She states that it is a good excercice to put yourself in a high power pose for a few minutes on a daily base to lift your energy and become more self confident. So, arms in a V reaching for the sky, chin up and a big YES will be from now on my posture to start the day!
